Em 1963, Milton Banana, Tenório Jr., Raulzinho, Zezinho e Hamilton Cruz (com participação de Paulo Moura e J.T. Meirelles) se intitularam Os Cobras e gravaram O LP. Pode parecer pretensioso, mas o nome da banda corresponde ao porte dos músicos e O LP é uma obra prima e um dos discos fundamentais do samba-jazz.

In 1963, Milton Banana, Tenório Jr, Raulzinho, Zezinho and Hamilton Cruz (with participation of Paulo Moura and J.T. Meirelles) had intitled themselves as Os Cobras and had recorded O LP. It can seem a little pretentious, but the name of the band corresponds to the excellence of the musicians, and O LP is a masterpiece and one of basic records of samba-jazz.
